In this class, we will solidify our concept of the fundamental rhythm used in Cuban music:  THE CLAVE

Students will develop a solid understanding of:

- The 3/2 Polythythm

- The 6/8 Bell

- The Son and Rumba clave

- Their relationships to the 6/8 bell and 3/2 polyrhythm

- The approaches to "2 side" & "3 side" terminology
